Translating a global brand into France’s largest Rugby World Cup fan zone
For the Rugby World Cup 2023, Toulouse Métropole hosted the largest fan zone in France, welcoming nearly 200,000 visitors over 16 days. Working at Agence PGO alongside Jade Kerbeci, I adapted the official Rugby World Cup visual identity to a large-scale event environment.
Rather than creating a new identity, my role was to translate an existing one into a clear and immersive experience. Working within strict brand guidelines, I designed layouts that responded to the site’s architecture, visitor flows and signage needs, ensuring the identity remained both functional and instantly recognizable.
Scope
- Large-format graphics, signage & wayfinding
- Event branding across the venue
- Motion graphics & social media content
- Photography and video art direction
- On-site production and asset delivery
The project gave me hands-on experience designing at scale, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and delivering under tight deadlines, while maintaining consistency across every touchpoint for an event that welcomed nearly 200,000 visitors.
